Once again I had problems – cracking graphics and a crashing client – but I was a bit more impressed than last time – having a guide to show me the good stuff and get the hang of the controls helped. I also met one or two of the other IBMers using Second Life. It’s clear that there’s still a lot more to explore. We can obvioulsy have serious conversations, but also as its an open atrium building base jump down the inside to the lobby.
That may sound a flippant thing to do on such a building, but it really is about navigation in 3d. Too many roof prims get in the way of being able to get where you want to go.
